The practise of Free Flight vanished in Belgium over the last few decades. No more easy access to large military domains like Brustem or large agricultural areas like Binche or Leuze. On the other hand, our national authority is not keen to let "uncontrolled" models airplanes fly in an unattended manner. The information about "dethermalling devices" is not widely known and misconceptions abound on this subject.
