Belgian podium at the F3G Elsass E-Trophy in Colmar (FRA)

On Septermber 6th and 7th, the Aéroclub Jean Mermoz organised this year's edition of his Elzass - E Trophy, a competition for electric powered gliders according to the recent FAI F3G rulebook. This event attracted 41 competitors from 8 diffrent nations, making it the most successful competition since the onset of this category. Hereunder a picture from the BELFRA team, an association of Belgian and French pilots.

On the podium, the first place was reached by Jan Timmermans (BEL), followed by Petr Fusek (CZE) and Denis Duchesne (BEL). Had there been a team a classification by country, the Belgians (Jan Timmermans -1, Denis Duchesne -3 and Steeve Hansoulle -8) would have beaten the Czechs (Petr Fusek - 2, Jan Stonavsky -4 and Pavel Marek -6) by 19 points...
